Beverly Dabrio, MA, BCBA

Beverly Dabrio has earned her Master of Art degree in psychology from the City University of New York in 2001. She has earned her professional development certificate in applied behavior analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. She has extensive training in education, autism, behavioral therapy, and child development.  She has written journal articles and presented at conferences on the topic of autism and child development.

Currently, she provides trainings and interventions for families with special healthcare needs including autism (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) and emotional behavioral disorders (EBD). She has a wide range of experience including parent/child interaction training, conflict resolution, the effects of divorce/separation on children, social skills interventions, verbal behavior therapy, natural environment training, early intervention, developmental evaluations, and treating individuals with sensory and specific phobias. In addition, she also provides court mandated classes for parents.

Treatment Approach

My approach is simple. I employ powerful reinforcements to assist my clients in reaching their goals. I teach skills that will help my clients to meet functional goals. I welcome parents to be a part of the entire process. I cannot cure your child. What I can do is to provide you with the tools that have helped so many individuals with, as well as without, special needs to perform at a more meaningful and functional level. My approach is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based on the principles of behaviorism.

Our Team

We have a team of highly qualified therapists and educators. Our team is culturally diverse and sensitive toward each family's individual needs.
